We are looking for a part-time colleagues to join our team and work behind our counter.

Bakery Andante is a small award winning bakery originally based in Morningside, with a production facility in Leith. Andante is a musical expression meaning ‘at a slower tempo’, which perfectly describes how we think bread should be made. Our products are made from scratch (starting from basic ingredients) on the premises. Our range includes 7 sourdough breads, a variety of flavoured and tin breads, as well as some great cakes and biscuits, all made with no additives, enhancers or improvers.

Our counter staff, are mainly based in Morningside and serve customers, do dishes for the bakers, keep the counter area clean and tidy, but also cover our markets too (from Leith). We are open 7 days a week, with the morning shifts starting from 7.30am, and the afternoon shifts finishing by 6.30pm. (5.30 on a Sunday). Market shifts can be until 8pm

We need both week and weekend cover.

you have week day and/or weekend availability;

you are available for 1-2 shifts a week/6-12 hours (additional hours may be available to cover holidays and busy weeks)

Experience is not essential, but a love of good food is.
